Is a battery always worth it with solar panels?

Not always. A battery increases the use of your own electricity, but its value depends on your consumption profile and goals. In the assessment we determine whether a battery is worthwhile for your property.

How large a battery is needed?

Battery size is based on consumption, the size of the solar system and your goals. An oversized battery doesn't necessarily improve the economics.

Can a battery be installed later?

Yes. You can start with solar panels and add a battery later. A future battery can be accounted for in the design.

Does a battery work during a power outage?

Not automatically in every system. Backup power during an outage requires a compatible system and the right configuration. We'll determine the possibility in the assessment.

How does a battery affect the payback time?

A battery increases the investment but adds to the use of your own production. Payback depends on consumption and the electricity price, and is estimated per property.
